Tin Can Challenge Deadline
February 18 @ 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
To participate, purchase a punch card at the front counter in the chalet. Official punch cards only to be used – replicas not accepted. One punch card per person at a time, although you can enter as often as you like. Turn in a completed punch card, and purchase another one. $2.00 per card.
Be sure to put your name and phone number on your card using a permanent marker (also available at the front counter) as soon as you get your card. This will make it much easier to find its correct owner if it is dropped or misplaced.
Ski and snowshoe all the trails and find the numbered tin cans – use the orange punch tool to punch the number on your card that corresponds to the number on the can. Each punch tool creates a unique pattern.
Please do not tamper with the tin cans or punch tools. Handle the punch tools with care. And keep in mind that the snow at the base of the trees off the trails can be soft. Watch your step when stepping off groomed, packed trails.
Complete your punch card, and show it to staff at the front counter to receive a word anagram
You will be given a word anagram to decipher! Once completed, staple your word anagram to your completed punch card and place both in the Tin Can Trail Challenge entries container in the Chalet. You will now be eligible for a great prize!
Join us on Monday, February 18th at 8 pm for the draw for the great prize donated by KBM Outdoors! You do NOT have to be in attendance to win, but it sure would be fun if you were here if we draw your name!
KBM Outdoors has generously donated 1 pair of GV Mountain Trail “Spin” 9×29″ snowshoes! These snowshoes retail for $194.99. We will not be able to accommodate a size depending on the winner, rather, KBM Outdoors has provided us with a good mid-range size pair of snowshoes which would accommodate most people on a groomed trail.
Punch cards available until Monday, February 18th at 4pm.
Draw to take place on Monday evening, February 18th at 8 pm!
The snowshoes donated by KBM Outdoors will be on display in the chalet for all to see and check out during the challenge!
So many trails…so little time…so get out there and ski and snowshoe all the trails!
